Oh my goodness - this session was so much fun! Did you know our full wedding package comes with a complimentary adventure session? While most of our couples choose to use it for engagement photos, our couples travel from all over for their weddings and sometimes schedules don't line up to meet before their wedding day. Dani and Joey live out east, so they opted to use their adventure session a few days after their wedding on their favorite beach in the San Luis Obispo area! We're always so excited when couples choose do a "day-after" session because they're relaxed and fun - theirs was no exception!
After an incredible wedding weekend, we met them at Montana de Oro State Park (just south of Morro Bay) for a few hours of chill adventuring around and playing in California's incredible golden light. Dani + Joey are known for their amazing smiles, but this day was extra special and packed with that giddy newlywed love. We loved hearing their stories of hiking here together in college, their hopes for the future, and their constant laughter every time we pointed out "You're married!!!" We shot until the sun was gone and were gifted with gorgeous light the whole time. It was our last sunset in California for a while (we're currently back in Texas building a camper van) and it couldn't have been more perfect! Future couples, I encourage you to consider booking a day-after session if you're not leaving on a honeymoon immediately. This was so sweet and a great cap on a wonderful wedding weekend!
