If you remember from Janet + Paul's blog post, I mentioned how this weekend in Yosemite was a little bit crazy, so here is the second installment of our packed weekend in Yosemite! After Janet and Paul's engagement session at Glacier Point, we holed up in the van for some rest and napping. We spent the day up at Glacier Point and after eating some dinner we drove down the road a few minutes to the trail head for Taft Point to meet Stephany and Anthony! Tough life :) We met up with them and had so much fun hiking out to Taft together! Once again, we were a little concerned with the nearby fires but thankfully the clouds covered the sky and not the valley.
We loved getting to know these two. As we were walking out there, I kept asking how they felt about heights knowing Taft Point is a pretty rowdy drop off, but once we got to the first fissure Stephany went straight to the edge and got on her hands and knees to look over...I ended up being the nervous one! We had so much fun running around (literally running as I got super wide shots of them) and taking in the crazy views of El Cap and Yosemite Falls. They had us laughing the entire time, something you can easily see in their photos. It ended up being one of the most amazing sunsets I've seen from Taft with all of the smoky haze changing colors and we hiked back in the dark with our headlamps laughing the whole way.
