intimate forest wedding | sequoia national park | foggy elopement in the woods
Earlier this summer when we were in California, my friend Katch texted me to see if I could second shoot for her in Sequoia National Park and while I haven't second shot in years, Callen was out climbing el cap in Yosemite and I love Sequoia National Park, so I figured I'd go for it! I am so glad I did because Maggie + Pablo's intimate forest elopement was honestly one of the most beautiful weddings I've seen! Everything from her long-sleeve lace dress to the adorable camp-style photo booth was so dreamy and cozy at the same time. On top of that, we were met with some of the most epic fog I've experienced for the first look and ceremony, making for some really stunning portraits in the giant Sequoia trees. After their ceremony, we hiked up to Moro Rock and the fog made it feel extra adventurous as we couldn't see much around us and if felt like we were way up in the clouds! It was super fun to watch Katch do her thing, and to get to take on the roll of second shooter and really let my creativity flow with less pressure than the when I'm the main photographer. Here are a few of my favorites from this enchanting day!
