Lauren and Jordan came all the way from Austin to elope at Patrick’s Point State Park in Northern California on none other than Wedding Rock. After beginning to plan a bigger wedding back home, these two realized it wasn’t quite for them and decided to scrap the big stressful plans and elope instead.

I was recently interviewed by Laura Hughes for her Women on the Road podcast with She Explores. We covered everything from van life, to running a business on the road, to why I am hesitant to share locations, and my thoughts on the recent public lands debate.

After realizing a bigger wedding would be complicated for family, Lorilee + Ivan decided to elope in Yosemite National Park with his brother as their officiant and their sister-in-law as a witness. They had a snowy first look and a romantic ceremony in El Cap meadow followed by wedding portraits all over Yosemite Valley.

Megan and Nate are fellow adventure wedding photographers, so when we met up in El Chalten, Argentina, we traded photo sessions in hopes of inspiring our future couples to consider a Patagonia Elopement! Here are a few photos they took of us in Patagonia.
