we aren't your regular wedding photographers.
For us, it’s always been about adventure. We’ve built a life doing our dream job in our favorite places on earth, spending our free time exploring the natural world and schemeing ideas for our couples to have their dream elopement in these places. Whether it’s paddling with icebergs in Alaska, flying to backcountry airstrips in Utah, canyoneering in slot canyons, landing helicopters and ice climbing on glaciers, driving off-road in Moab, or hiking in National Parks, the thing they all have in common is this: We love these activities in our free time, and we love to enjoy these activities with our couples for their wedding experience. No matter what you choose to do for your wedding, you can rest assured you’re working with our high-level of experience and comfort in the environment.
We're all about relationships. We specialize in small weddings and elopements and if we've learned anything from nearly 10 years of photographing couples in love, it's that our relationship with you two is extremely important. We want to capture your truest moments and we want you to have a lot of fun in the process, so it's our top priority that we vibe well together. We strive to build a friendship that will bring out your silly moments, your sweet moments, and your most genuine moments. By the end of this, we'll be best buds.
we’re guessing you aren’t a regular couple.
You don’t want a big crowd. While standing in the waiting area for our helicopter transport in Alaska, someone asked our bride what made her want to elope. She thought for a moment, and answered “center pieces and table clothes just aren’t my thing. I’d rather have an adventure.” and I can’t help but think that pretty much sums it up. Our couples don’t care for the strict timelines, high stress, and big show that goes into a traditional wedding. The idea of walking down an aisle surrounded by 200 people is the least romantic thing they can picture. If you feel the same way, I think you’ll be pretty psyched to hear that our couples are usually surrounded by more trees than people.
Picture the best adventure, on the best day, on the best vacation you can imagine. That’s what your elopement can be, and we’ll help make it happen. You don’t need to have anything planned before you contact us, we’re usually the first step in our couples’ short checklist of elopement necessities. From packrafting among icebergs in Alaska to rappelling in canyons in Utah, we’ve brought couples on some epic adventures they didn’t even know existed before we started planning.
Logistically, it’s best if you reach out within a year of your preferred date range. We have planned full elopements out in as little as 10 days, and on average book 6-12 months in advance, but because our travel schedule is so dependent on our bookings, we do not book more than 16 months in advance. We shoot a limited number of elopements per year and book on a first-come, first-serve basis with have caps for each location/month, so couples that are flexible on their date or location (or both) usually have the easiest time getting dates with us! Let’s do this!
