Debi & Scott's Utah Elopement | Roadtrip from Amangiri to Moab

Day one of Debi and Scott’s wedding at Amangiri started off with truly one of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve ever witnessed. We met up with them in their room and they spent the morning sipping tea, ordering breakfast in, and watching the sky light up. It was so vibrant that the surrounding mesas changed colors from their typical white pigments. One of my favorite things about Amangiri is how the buildings were designed to mimic and flow with the landscape, so it was especially cool to see the sunrise light have the same effect on the concrete structures turning the walls orange and magenta. After just a few minutes together, bathed in the sunrise light, we could tell this was going to be a beautiful and incredibly fun weekend.

Erin & Scott's Aviation Elopement | Backcountry Airplane Flight Tour in Moab

When Erin and Scott reached out to us to start planning their Moab elopement, we connected over our shared love for aviation. They both have family ties to the flight world and now Scott works on helicopters for the military. Once we started talking through ideas for their wedding, I mentioned our dream of flying with a local flight tour company here in Moab & landing on a backcountry airstrip for a remote elopement ceremony location. They were immediately on board and the plans fell into place seamlessly.
