We’re Abbi & Callen Hearne, Utah locals with a passion for blending adventure and luxury to give couples a romantic, stress-free destination elopement. With over 6 years of commitment working regularly with couples for sessions, elopements, and small weddings at Amangiri, we’ve built a close relationship with the staff and gained invaluable experience with the unique property. We know the ins and outs of resort itself and where to take the most stunning photos at any time of day. We’ve also spend a good deal of time driving and hiking around the land; we’ve taken our couples to secret spots that even the staff didn’t know about!

Imagine yourself waking up with the sunrise, sipping hot coffee and enjoying a slow morning, maybe even a visit to the spa, before getting ready in your room with a stunning view of the desert. Wandering the property and taking portraits with the iconic architecture and striking natural light before venturing into the desert for a peaceful outdoor ceremony. Watching the sunset from high on a mesa while we take more portraits with the golden, then pink-purple skies as the sun dips below the distant horizon. Finally, returning to a private corner of the hotel for a romantic candle-lit dinner under the stars while you reminisce on the perfect day you’ve had together.

Whether you’re celebrating your wedding anniversary, a special birthday, or you just wanted an excuse to relax in the desert (we can’t blame you!), Amangiri is the perfect place for a romantic getaway.
The intentionally designed architecture and beautifully preserved wild desert both make a gorgeous backdrop for portraits. Our style and approach for photo sessions gives us plenty of time to take a huge variety of photos throughout the property, including candid-style images of the two of you enjoying each other and the place, as well as more posed, formal portraits in the stunning desert light. No matter what we’re celebrating, we always have time for wardrobe changes if you want a variety of looks, as well as an option to add individual portraits for headshots, your website, or social media.
Propose at Amangiri
Amangiri is a beautiful place to propose and the staff are incredibly helpful in managing the logistics to keep it a surprise, and offer the option to celebrate afterwards with a private romantic dinner. Our proposal package includes our help and unlimited consultation in planning the actual event, as well as plenty of time for a full engagement photo session on-site that day or the day after.

Being local to the area, we’re also very knowledgeable and familiar with iconic adventures nearby such as Buckskin Gulch, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon, Coyote Butte and The Wave, Monument Valley, and Grand Staircase-Escalante, to name a few. We’re comfortable taking you off-site for hikes, photographs, and adventures as well, ensuring you make the most of your trip to Utah.
