michelle + damian's post-elopement adventure session in moab

Michelle and Damian have such a cool story. These two are from Florida, but instead of doing a traditional wedding, or even a wedding at all, they decided to just do a big road trip across the US all the way to Colorado so they could self-solomize on a hike together. Colorado actually has some of the most relaxed marriage laws in the US and they don’t require witnesses, or even an officiant, for a couple to get married! Michelle and Damian loved this idea, but they still wanted some photos to commemorate everything, so they eloped together on a hike in Colorado and then met up with us in Moab, Utah for a post-elopement portrait session. We spent the evening laughing and dancing with them around one of my favorite overlooks in Moab. It was absolutely beautiful! These two are so rad, we loved hanging out with them and when the time came for our session to be over we were honestly bummed to say goodbye!

If you're considering eloping and don't want do deal with ANY logistics, this is possibly the most simple way you could possibly get married. They literally picked up their papers, went on a hike, and when they sat down to sign them they were officially married. How wild is that? We love that they still chose to celebrate with a photo session and hope they will cherish these photos for years to come. If you're interested in booking a post-elopement photo session with us, reach out! We'd be happy to help organize and really take the planning off of your plate!
